About Heirloom Cookie Sheets

Welcome to my family, literally. Heirloom Cookie Sheets is truly a symbolic testament to my family history. Let me explain...
In 1981, my father purchased a metal fabricating company. He designed heavy-duty solid stainless steel cookie sheets for my mom. It wasn't but a couple months and she begged him to make her more! Her love to bake kept growing and before long, she was making 20 different kinds of cookies for Christmas. Those cookies became tradition in our family and eventually many of our friends' families.
Every year, she began baking in September, making 6-8 batches of each kind. We had two freezer chests that were filled to the brim as Christmas neared. I remember, as a little girl, my sister and I had the overwhelming job of filling the "cookie gift boxes." Under the careful scrutiny of mom, we lined up all 20 kinds of cookies on a HUGE table and filled the boxes, making sure that each box had at least a dozen of each kind.
When I got married, dad, of course, proudly made me a set of eight cookie sheets (he had a tendency to go above and beyondJ) Within a couple of years, we started a family and were blessed with identical twin girls. Like any new mom, I began to focus more on the importance of making wholesome food and buying safe products. I slowly filled our kitchen with stainless steel cookware and bakeware, and began to realize that no one even came close to making as good of a cookie sheet as my dad made. My mother's cookie sheets, after 33 years of use and thousands of cookies later, still look amazing!
I continued to use my cookie sheets faithfully and created my own traditions with our girls. Realizing that my dad had really made something special for our family, I decided to honor him and recreate what I now call... the Heirloom Cookie Sheet.
Baking as a family continues to be a fundamental activity in our home. I encourage you to "bake your own memories, one batch at a time!"
